Bad news

An e-mail from my brother Jack this morning about our brother Ernie ...

Hi everybody. Need to let you know Ernie is back at Baylor, the cancer has come back. I spoke with him last week and the doctor had just told him the cancer was in complete remission and he could return to work next Monday. Tuesday they found the cancer was back and hospitalized him.

Needless to say, this was a shock and is a setback. I had a note beside my computer to call a friend whose 24 year old son is Baylor with AML to let him know that Ernie had beat it and his son could too. Karen said they are going to the stem cell bank now to see if they can find a match.

Essentially folks this means Ernie is going to die without finding a stem cell match.
